Our offer

Automated vegetable garden

The centrepiece of the "Robofeld" project is the DAVEGI agricultural robot, which enables fully automated and resource-saving vegetable cultivation. The robot is used on a test field with a radius of 24 metres in Krefeld. Participants can rent plots and maintain them either on site or remotely via an app. This technology not only strengthens regional vegetable production, but also creates sustainable and less labour-intensive processes that promote high efficiency and self-sufficiency.

App: remote control and knowledge transfer

The Robofield app enables participants to manage their plots remotely and monitor the field status via daily camera recordings. The app is not only used for control, but also provides a platform for dialogue and knowledge transfer. Users can organise events such as "field days" and gain practical knowledge about sustainable vegetable cultivation. There are also plans to integrate AI, which can automatically detect weeds, pests and water requirements with the help of user data, further optimising cultivation.

Community and youth development

A particular focus of the Robofeld project is on youth development and education in the field of sustainable agriculture and technologies. Pupils and young professionals are supported through practical workshops and project work in STEM subjects. With the support of partners, schools are given the opportunity to take part in practice-oriented educational programmes, which are designed to spark interest in technical professions. The aim is to sensitise the skilled workers of the future to the environmental economy and sustainable technologies through early education.
